Civoniceva leads Aussie stars

Maroons and Kangaroos legend, Petero Civoniceva heads a star-studded list of Australian rugby league legends arriving in Port Moresby today.

PACNEWS reports the early contingent of Australians will be there for the Namba Wan Trophy Haus Ltd-Ela Motors Legends of League clash against PNG this weekend.

Civoniceva will be accompanied by Scott Hill, Jamie Goddard, Justin Loomans, Darren Albert and Sid Domic.

Former Newcastle Knight and grand final star, Albert replaces Nathan Blacklock on the wing for the NWTL Australian Legends side.

PNG Legend Adrian Lam will arrive and join fellow Legend Stanley Gene, who has returned from the United Kingdom.

NRL Bid chief executive officer Brad Tassell said excitement was building for the match on Saturday.
