July 28, 2015 6:57 pm

Vodafone Flying Fijians rugby coach John McKee says changes are necessary in a bid to have his player up to par each week in the Pacific Nations Cup.

McKee has made 10 changes to his starting team, which takes on Japan in the PNC tomorrow.

For a third week in a row, McKee has made wholesale changes and says it has been working well.

“Also for us the tournament is very important as we also got the other eye on the Rugby World Cup. We have made a number of changes and that’s the other reason to balancing game time to training time. Because we are trying to work our players hard on the fitness aspect and that is why we make a number of changes but I am really confident in the strength and depth, we have got in our squad and although we made changes, our team is as strong as the one we picked last week.”

The Fiji-Japan match starts at 10am tomorrow in Canada.
