Changes likely for Deans in the future

August 1, 2014 12:44 am

Talks are underway for changes in the Coke Zero Deans rugby competition in the coming years.

Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Association president, Napolioni Silatolu, says they are looking to engage more schools in the competition.

“It’s to cater for north teams and teams from the Islands… Lomaiviti, Kadavu… because there is so much interest. Especially students, they want to participate.”

Silatolu adds they need to amend the constitution in order to do that.

Meanwhile, the Under-18 semi-final of the Deans will be played tomorrow from 2pm, Queen Victoria School meets Lelean Memorial School, while at 3.50pm, defending champions Ratu Navula clashes with Ratu Kadavulevu.
