Changes in the pipeline

The Fiji Football Association is looking at amending statutes during its ordinary congress to be held next Wednesday in Suva.

In a circular distributed to districts, a motion is to be put during the congress, whereby districts will vote whether they want to implement the changes.

This includes those wanting to contest for the post of president of Fiji FA, to have served as a vice president of the association for at least three years.

Also, those who want to contest as the vice president of the Fiji FA should have served as a president or vice president of the district for at least three years.

Fiji FA chief executive Bob Kumar says they will not comment on the matter.
However, he says it was a confidential circular, which was given to districts to study and deliberate during the congress.

He adds whoever is responsible of leaking it out on social media and media, has done wrong.
