The Oceania Rugby has come on board and will be involved in this year’s national kaji rugby.

The involvement of the Oceania Rugby will see a change in the format of the competition.

Suva Kaji rugby official Taniela Naiteqe says from the competition will be held in one venue, not like the previous years.

Naiteqe says only three senior grades will qualify to the national stage and the rest of the teams round off their games in the zonal competition.

“Under 12, 13 and 14 grades will resume to the national competition while the U9 Tto U11 grades will compete in the tag rugby competition. So it’s going to be interesting and easier.”

The Kaji rugby will be held at Suva’s ANZ Stadium in August during the term two school break.
