Fiji Football Association North vice president, Dewan Chand still holds the top position despite being convicted of defilement.

National League Board chairman, Sheik Ibrahim says although he maintains his position, he will be an inactive member, unable to perform functions associated with the post.

”At the moment that position is still vacant because when the notice was sent to all districts, we have not allowed anyone to fill in the position because he has filed an appeal so we have to wait for the result”

Chand is currently serving four years imprisonment and the Fiji FA has yet to decide his future with the sporting body.
