The Fiji Babas 7s players have a chance to impress the coaching panel and be part of the Sevens World Series next year.
Fiji 7s coach Nacanieli Cawanibuka says they are looking forward to more international tournaments which will give them more options to select potential players for the team.
“The arrangement we trying to have more international club tournaments that our development team can go to. This is one of them SUDAMERICA and hopefully in the New Year’s we will have a few more tournaments that once we have the main squad traveling to the Sevens Series, we have international club tournament where our other tier goes through.”
The SUDAMERICA 7s will feature teams from Argentina, USA, Canada, Chile, Brazil, Uruguay and Colombia.
The tournament will be played on the 6th and 7th of January in Argentina and on the 14th and 15th in Chile.
