The Canada 7s coach Damian McGrath has named a powerful side for the London tournament in the weekend.
Player maker Nathan Hirayama will captain the side in the three days competition from Saturday.
McGrath says with experienced players returning, he is confident of an improved outing this time around.
“We are bit more confident on this particular leg that the 13 player we are taking are more or less 100 percent fit which is something we haven’t had up until now. I’m hoping it will give us a positive boost.”
Canada is pooled with South Africa, Samoa and Russia.
Meanwhile, Fiji takes on Argentina in its first pool match at 10.20pm on Saturday and will then battle against Scotland at 1.26am on Sunday before meeting New Zealand at 4.32am.
