Cakaudrove rugby hopes for a positive result

The Cakaudrove rugby side is ready to put on an exciting style of rugby in its third game against Nasinu in the Vodafone Vanua Challenge this weekend.

The Northerners who arrived in Viti Levu this morning had a win and a loss in the first two rounds of the competition.

They beat the Naitasiri Bulls 23-11 and they lost to Ovalau 17-16.

Coach Rayne Simpson says they are coming prepared this weekend and are ready to provide a strong encounter against their opponents.

“With our young side who has performed quite well against the two big provinces like Naitasiri Bulls and Ovalau they played some exciting style of rugby and I’m sure whoever going to watch the game this Saturday will enjoy certainly because it will be a good contest against a very good team like Nasinu.”

Cakaudrove will take on Nasinu at 3pm Saturday at St Marcellin Primary School ground.

Meanwhile, in the Skipper Cup competition, Naitasiri will host Nadi on Saturday at 3pm at Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park.
