Busy road ahead for Fiji Pearls

October 3, 2014 7:54 pm

New Fiji Pearls coach Kate Carpenter has indicated that a host of warm-up games are being lined up for the side in the build-up to the 2015 World Netball Cup.

The former Northern Ireland mentor did not provide the details about preparations for the world event but says the road to the championships in Australia will be a hectic one.

“As I said, the international program planned for Fiji for next year is huge. It won’t be a situation where we won’t be getting to the World Cup and say “if only we had more lead-up matches. So it is very demanding but it is a high performance sport and we have high expectations about the success of the team.”
