The defending Bula Cup champions from Sydney, Australia are facing very strong competition from rival Nadi schools.

The Newport Junior Rugby U14 suffered a loss to Mount St. Marys 10-0 while the second team lost to Nadi District School 22-12.

The only win of the day came from their third team when they defeated Namaka Public 10-0

This is the eighth consecutive year the teams have been travelling to Fiji and will defend the Bula Cup this Saturday taking on the Nadi Kaji team.

The three teams consist of 60 boys.
