Bruzzone tips Fiji amongst top bets

November 26, 2012 12:04 am

Argentina captain Nicolas Bruzzone is tipping Fiji amongst the top bets for the Dubai 7s rugby title this weekend.

Despite having set his eyes of the top prize, Bruzzone says the Fijians along
with New Zealand, South Africa and England look dangerous heading into the tournament.

However, he adds all 16 teams in the competition will be working hard in trying to reign in the Arab state.

Meanwhile, Fiji coach Alifereti Dere says they need to build on from the win at the Gold Coast tournament last month.

“Winning the first tournament is a very good start for the Fiji 7s team and it sets out the pace for competing for other legs.”

Fiji is pooled with Kenya, Scotland and Spain for the Dubai 7s and the first match is against the Spanish at 6.50pm on Friday.
