Brumbies duo so far raise 4K

Brumbies stars, Henry Speight and Tevita Kuridrani have so far managed to raise FjD$4114 for the Tropical Cyclone Winston relief efforts.

The duo put up their game jerseys on auction prior to the season-opening match against the Hurricanes on Friday, which the Brumbies won 52-10.

Brumbies captain, Stephen Moore is also auctioning off his 150th Super Rugby jersey for the cyclone relief efforts.

The trio join Crusaders Fijian quartet, Nemani Nadolo, Ben Volavola, Jone Macilai and Alex Hodgeman, who are putting several personal and team items on auction to raise funds and provide assistance to those affected by Cyclone Winston.

Meanwhile, Fiji-born centre, Setareki Tamanivalu scored a try last night to help the Chiefs beat the Crusaders 27-21.

In other games, the Waratahs defeated the Reds 30-10, Melbourne Rebels beat Western Force 25-19, the Sharks hammered the Southern Kings 43-8, the Lions beat the Sunwolves 26-13 and the Stormers beat the Bulls 33-9.
