The Rewa football side has successfully defended the INKK Mobile Battle of the Giants title after beating Ba 2-0 in the final this afternoon.
Brothers, Iosefo Verevou and Epeli Saukuru scored a goal in each half to the delight of the home fans at Ratu Cakobau Park.
Verevou opened the scores in the 29th minute after taking advantage of a mis-judged kick by Ba goal-keeper, Misiwane Nairube.
Verevou guided the ball past three Ba defenders and a diving Nairube to the back of the net.
The stylish striker was substituted by his elder brother, Saukuru in the second half who slotted in a neat pass from Setareki Hughes only 5 minutes from full-time to seal the win.
Coach, Marika Rodu commended his players for executing the game plan well during the match.
Rewa midfielder, Garish Prasad was emotional at the end of the match as he dedicated the victory to his late grandfather, who passed way during the opening leg of the competition last weekend.
