The British High Commission to Fiji and its staff eagerly await the English football side running onto the field in their first FIFA World Cup semi-final after 28 years, when they face Croatia tomorrow.
British High Commissioner to Fiji Melanie Hopkins says their national team has not been tested and tomorrow’s game will be a nail-biter.
“Croatia there’s a formidable adversary. It’s a talented team and well-organized and we’re hoping this will be the moment the Southgate squad can break through.”
The Commissioner has organized a special staff get together early in the morning to watch their football gladiators in action.
They take on Croatia at 6 am tomorrow and you can watch it live on FBC TV.
Meanwhile, the winner of the match will face the mighty France in the final at 3 am next Monday.
