Nathan Singh aims for top finish in the Pacific Games

Nathan Singh, the younger brother of Fijian Boxer Sebastian Singh won Gold in the 57kg Fiji Games bout at Nasinu Police Mobile today.

With his sight set on the Pacific Games, Nathan is confident he will settle for a medal in his bout category.

Nathan’s mentor Sebastian Singh says he has been helping his younger brother and guiding him to achieving his dream.

“His sight is definitely fixed on the Olympic Games. He’s not only focusing on the Pacific Games. But of course the Pacific Games is the stepping stone towards the Olympic Games. He has set his sights and and I will be taking him to New Zealand to may be fight in the golden gloves in New Zealand.”

Nathan Singh says being raised up in a family of boxers has given him a slight advantage over his opponents and he aims to outshine his older brother.

“It’s my turn as I’m trying to work so hard so I can get all the way above Sebastian.”

Nathan says winning Gold today in the Fiji Games is just a step towards achieving his ultimate dream.

With a massive background in boxing and being raised up surrounded by well-known boxers in Fiji, Nathan aims to become a household name in the future of boxing.
