Kwadjo hopes judges will not be influenced by crowd

The Boxing Commission of Fiji will be assisting the South Pacific Boxing Promotions in the fight against Joseph Kwadjo and Savenaca Naliva tomorrow in Nadi.

BCF Chairman Subhash Appana says they have acquired services of an International Boxing referee from the IBO to officiate the title fights.

He adds that the commission will also be strict on the rules during the event.

“I’m looking forward to this fight. Some of the judges are going to listen to the crowd than score points to them. It’s not about that, they have to see from the first to the last minute on what is happening. I think the new board need to check on this and correct everything.”

South Pacific Boxing Promoter Freddy Chand has assured fans that issues from the previous bout has been sorted and there will be no altercations during the event.

Chand says they are working with the Boxing Commission of Fiji for the success of the event and for proper procedures to be followed.

There will be a total of nine bouts in the Bad Blood Promotions.

The main bout will be between Savenaca Naliva and Joseph Kwadjo who will be contesting for the vacant light heavyweight title at Prince Charles Park in Nadi on Saturday.
