Fiji Amateur Boxing coaches and referees held a one day workshop facilitated by Fiji’s very own level three coaching instructor Seru Whippy.

Whippy is currently in the country to attend the AIBA (International Amateur Boxing Association) 2020 Oceania Forum on Saturday.

“Today’s workshop is conducted by the former president of the Fiji amateur boxing association Seru Whippy who lives in Australia but is registered in the Fiji Boxing Association with AIBA and he comes over and does referee and judges training. He’s a level 3 coach for AIBA the only one in Fiji and just a very few in the pacific I think he’s the only one.”

More than 10 Fiji Amateur Boxing officials, coaches and boxing enthusiasts were part of the workshop where coaching and judging tips were discussed.
