Bowls Fiji is confident of giving other teams a good run for their money when they compete in the Commonwealth Games in April.

The sporting federation will name five players each in the womens and mens division for the games.

Bowls Fiji Secretary Abdul Khalim says, they are eager to play against the big guns.

“When we go and play Australia and New Zealand, we are not afraid of them, they are afraid of us, they are stronger but we have that edge on them and we like to play them and beat them.”

The Commonwealth Games will be held from the 4th to the 15th April.
