Bowls Fiji is expected to field an experienced team in the Commonwealth Games in April.

The extended national bowling team is currently training and the final side will be selected next week.

Bowls Fiji Secretary Abdul Khalim says the bowlers are eager to take on the world’s best teams during the games.

“The team is training well, they are using every weekend training and this week they will be training in Nadi, so we are looking for a good team to represent Fiji.”

Ten players and two officials will be selected to represent Fiji in Australia.

The Commonwealth Games will be held from the 4th to the 15th of April.
