The National Bowling team has called on the Fiji Sports Council to continue supporting them in the upcoming World Championships in New Zealand next year.

Team Manager, Curtis Mar says the council has always been supportive in the past and it will be a bonus to have them onboard again for the competition.

“We have been very well supported by the National Sports Commission. Peter Mazey and his team have come forward and sponsored our team to the Asia/Pacific Games, without their support, we would not have been able to compete there and we look forward to their support again for the World Championships.”

Mar adds there are also many sponsors that have assisted the squad financially this year.

The World Bowling Championships will be held on 4th -11th December next year in Christchurch.
