La Rochelle’s flanker Levani Botia is expected to a major role in the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians side during the European tour next month.

Flying Fijians coach, John McKee says, Botia is doing well in the forwards and it gives him option to slot the former prison officer at any suitable position.

“A lot of Fijian boys are playing very well up there. Players in La Rochelle playing very well with Kini Murimurivalu playing at full back and {Levani} Botia interested enough to play in the backrow but who knows what might happen on the tour.”

The local players’ part of the Flying Fijians squad goes into camp on Thursday.

Fiji begins its campaign on 11th of November against Italy followed by Ireland and then Canada.
