The Vodafone Fiji Under 20 football team received a major boost ahead of the FIFA World Cup next month.

The Fiji National Sports Commission gave them a grant of $200,000 to prepare for the world event.

The under 20 side plays two warm-up matches in Australia before the tournament kicks off in New Zealand on May 30th .

Fiji plays its first match against Germany at 1pm on the 1st of June.
