Top bets Labasa meets Nadroga at 4pm , and a win for the Babasiga Lions will see it become the first team to qualify for the semi-finals.

The official opening takes place at 6pm before defending champions Rewa meets Ba at 6.30pm.

The feature match of the day sees hosts Lautoka taking on Nadi at 8.30pm.
Suva, Navua, Nadroga and Rewa are all in danger of bowing out of the tournament if they lose today.

On the other hand, Labasa, Ba, Lautoka and Nadi could cement their place in the semi-final with their second win in the tournament.

Meanwhile, we’ll join FBC Sports reporter, Shalveen Chand who’s in Lautoka for the latest update.

“Excellent ground conditions for good ground ball soccer and the weather although cloudy should hold up. I spoke to fans who are looking to a good day of soccer, Ba fans are out in numbers and carrying vuvuzela’s so it’s going to be a noisy night tonight and we’ll just have to see how the games progress today.”

You can catch live commentaries of the Labasa-Nadroga, Ba-Rewa and Lautoka-Nadi matches on our sister station, RF 2 with the voice of soccer Raymond Stoddart.

Meanwhile, Fiji FA has confirmed Rewa has written a complaint letter against Labasa.

This is in regards to the payment of former Rewa defender, Posiano Kalisito who is now playing for the Babasiga Lions.

Fiji FA chief executive, Bob Kumar confirms it is not a protest and the Board of Control will look into the matter.
