Bobo stars in La Rochelle upset win

Former Fiji 15s winger, Sireli Bobo scored his 50th try in top grade French rugby, to help La Rochelle upset heavyweights, Toulon 32-30 this morning.

The speedster displayed his vast experience as he spotted a gap and burst through to score underneath the posts.

Compatriot and former Flying Fijians fullback, Kini Murimurivalu also dotted down for La Rochelle as they outscored Toulon by four tries to two.

Blockbusting back-rower, Jone Qovu came on as a replacement for La Rochelle in the second half.

Former Fiji 7s rep, Josua Tuisova scored one of Toulon’s two tries.

In other matches, Joe Rokocoko scored a try for Bayonne in their 42-33 victory over Grenoble.

Benito Masilevu, Sisa Koyamaibole and Dominiko Waqaniburotu featured for Brive in their 15-10 win over Akapusi Qera’s Montpellier side.
