The Vodafone Flying Fijians were today tagged as the best ever prepared team to depart the country for the World Cup.

The team was reminded of its capabilities by the President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau, as the side presented its i-Tatau in Suva today.

Nailatikau says the team has the blessings of the people of the country and is playing for a nation.

“We have all followed the fortunes of this team, your training routines. You have done the hard yards. And if I say that I say that very sincerely. We have seen it all. And this is about the best prepared Fiji team we have sent abroad to the World Cup. The prayers of all the Fijians go with you, you don’t have to ask, it s given willingly.”

The team leaves for England on Monday.
