Senior netball rep Maria Bereso has quit the Fiji Netball squad preparing for the Pacific Series in June.

Bereso joins Bernadette Daurewa as players who’ve opted out of the national side for personal reasons.

Team manager Tanya Vatubua says they will make do the remaining players.

“Our national squad has been chopped to 15 because one of our players has cited personal commitments and we have recieved her letter to team management.”

The final team will be named in two weeks after a fitness test.

Fiji is the defending champion in the Pacific Series.
