Vodafone Fiji Bati star, Jarryd Hayne says the team wants nothing less than a win against New Zealand and play in the semi-final of the Rugby League World Cup.
Fiji has played in the semi-finals of the last two World Cups, in 2008 and 2012.
Hayne adds while they are aware of the tough battle ahead, they need to remain focus on the goal that was set prior to the tournament.
“For us making it into the two semi-final of the last two World Cups is definitely the aspect of some pressure this year. I think we don’t go away from what the Island is about that is to enjoy each other and the company and play hard for each other which we have been doing.”
The Bati take on the Kiwis at 7.30pm at Westpac Stadium in Wellington on Saturday.
