Bati loses Gillard to Kangaroos

Days after making his intention clear to play for the Vodafone Fiji Bati, Reagan Campbell-Gillard has been called into the Kangaroos squad for the Rugby League World Cup next month.
Gillard replaces Andrew Fifita, who turned down the offer from Australia, joining New Zealand star Jason Taumalolo in the Tongan team.
Fiji National Rugby League Chief Executive, Timoci Naleba has wished Gillard all the best in his future.
He says, Fiji has a lot of potential and players who are ready to make it into the Fiji Bati squad.
The Bati is pooled with USA, Italy and Wales.
They plays its first game against United States on 28th of October in Australia.
