In a bid to build a stronger baseball team in Fiji, the Softball and Baseball Association of Fiji will be holding baseball clinics tomorrow at the John Wesley College from 10am.
Development Officer Inoke Niubalavu, says clinics for children of all age groups.
He says coach Taka Hironishio will also be present during the clinics to keep an eye out for fresh talents who can be part of the Fiji Baseball Team.
Niubalavu says the clinics are part of a long term goal that the association wants to achieve.
“We are hoping to have a U12 league and also a U18 League. The players for the U18 are from 13, all the way to 18. It’s going to be more like a mixed group of players but the outcome that we are trying to do this month is again to recruit players.”
Niubalavu is urging female participants to come out in numbers tomorrow.
