Bad weather a hinderance to Suva

The current wet weather hitting the Central has hindered Suva and Navua in their preparation towards important Fiji Sun GP Batteries National Football League matches this weekend.

Suva meets Ba in the top of the table clash to decide the league winner.

Suva coach says the game will be tough but the rain has not helped.

He says conditions in Ba would be different from what they are training in.

“It’s going to be a tough game. All players have been coming for training but the weather is quite a hinderance.”

Meanwhile Navua who are placed last are facing Nadroga.

Navua president Gopal Naidu says his team has been unable to train.

In the games this weekend….

On Sunday the Premier Division play-off between Tailevu Naitasiri and Rakiraki kicks off at 1pm at Govind Park.

Suva then takes on Ba at 3pm.
