Fiji Airways 7s coach Gareth Baber says he will have a tough time in selecting his final 12 member squad for this month’s World Cup.
Baber says the competition amongst the 16-member squad is intense and it will be a big challenge for him to handpick the best for his squad.
“It should be difficult. If it’s not then I’m doing something wrong and I don’t want an automatic selection and I’ve said that all the way and I want the players to train the way that they play and that’s where the habits are formed and I’ll be training them in the next couple of weeks and see the selection where they are.”
Baber will name his final squad on the 18th of this month.
The team is currently based in Utah, USA.
The World Cup will be held from the 21st to 23rd of this month in San Francisco.
