Fiji Airways mens 7s coach Gareth Baber has a huge task ahead as the national team gears up for the World Ruby Series opener in Dubai.

Baber expects the Fiji 7s side to make a firing start and set the bench mark from the opening game in Dubai from tomorrow.

Players like skipper Kalione Nasoko, Jerry Tuwai, Vatemo Ravouvou, Amenoni Nasilasila and Sevuloni Mocenacagi will have to play a vital role against France, Scotland and Kenya in the pool matches.

Fiji last won the Dubai 7s in 2015, when they defeated England 28-17.

They open their campaign against France at 7.06pm tomorrow, followed by Scotland at 10.06pm and Kenya at 4.06am on Saturday.
