Fiji Airways 7s coach Gareth Baber has praised former Natabua High School runner Batinisavu Uluiyata for his consistency at training as they prepare for the 2018 Oceania 7’s championship this weekend.

Baber says Uluiyata has been very impressive and has been providing good competition among senior players.

“Batinisavu has played in the HSBC 7s and he’s worked hard and continue to work hard and he wants to improve and he has impressed to people in the position to put his hand up for future selection and it’s not done but it’s the matter of opportunity to put their hands up.”

Meanwhile, Fiji plays Solomon Islands in its first pool match at 4.57pm on Friday before taking on Papua New Guinea at 8.06pm at the Suva’s ANZ Stadium.
