Fiji Airways men’s 7s coach Gareth Baber has named Josua Tuisova and Semi Radradra in the final 12 member squad for the London tournament.
Radradra has been named in the forwards together with Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Josua Vakurunabili, Kalione Nasoko, Jasa Veremalua and Paula Dranisinukula
Baber has dropped Mesulame Kunavula, Apenisa Cakaubalavu and Samisoni Viriviri.
He has opted for six backs led by skipper Jerry Tuwai while Alasio Naduva is the 13th player and will be on standby for London 7s.
Baber has been impressed with Tuisova plus Radradra and says they will bring in a lot of qualities into the team.
“They showing leadership qualities in terms of their knowledge and experience and the players around are obviously challenged by them coming in and obviously holding on to positions but its good to have that level of competition with the group.”
Fiji takes on Argentina in its first pool match at 10.20 pm tomorrow and will then battle against Scotland at 1.26 am on Sunday before meeting New Zealand at 4.32am.
