Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Gareth Baber has kept his options open on filling the rover’s position after Osea Kolinisau’s departure.

Baber says he has few players in his mind who could step up and fill the vacuum left by the national team captain.

“You know players that we have looked at are Samu Bale in-terms of rover position I’m looking at several other players who are playing in Skipper Cup and will be included possibly in NRC selection and other players playing 7s tournament here in Fiji to have that opportunity to come into the squad.”

Baber is expected to name a 30-member-extended squad in November.
