Fiji airways 7s Coach Gareth Baber says the Nabukelevuira 7s is well organised and some opposition teams were great while playing against the national team.
After claiming the title, Baber says the tournament was a good start for them as it provided them with the much needed game intensity that will help them at the upcoming Oceania 7s and the World Sevens Series.
Baber says it also gave him an opportunity to look at new and returning players in a competitive environment.
Baber will have another month to prepare for the Oceania 7’s, where his squad will be looking to launch into the 2019 season with a bang.
Meanwhile some of the star players that were on show in Kadavu include captain Jerry Tuwai, Alosio Naduva, Kalione Nasoko, Amenoni Nasilasila and Sevuloni Moceinacagi.
