Fiji 7's team to the Pacific Games in training

Many young players have been named in the Fiji sevens team to the Pacific Games in Samoa.

Coach Gareth Baber has also included a few experienced players.

Terio Tamani, Apenisa Ratukabu, Beniamino Vota, Luke Lutunavua and Napolioni Ratu are also in the team.

Baber has rested the core players who were in regular outings for Fiji in the recent HSBC 7s Series, giving chance to young players to prove themselves in the Pacific games.

The Fiji Men’s 7s team is drawn with Cook Islands, New Caledonia, Nauru and Wallis and Futuna.

The sevens tournament at the Pacific games will be on the 12th and 13th of next month.
