After climbing to the pinnacle in Hong Kong five times in a row, the Fiji Airways 7s side now stretches for its second consecutive summit of success in Singapore this weekend.
Coach Gareth Baber says they have been doing self-focus meetings to ensure the players are on track and are mentally prepared.
“Today the players are recovering again and we will train tomorrow morning and obviously the rest of the day as well so we in a good place and we’ve had ourselves self-focus meeting in terms of this week’s bring.”
Baber will name his lineup for Singapore tomorrow.
Fiji is pooled with South Africa, Canada, and Scotland in the Singapore 7s this weekend.
Fiji meets Canada at 4.36pm in its first pool match on Saturday, they will play Scotland at 8.20pm and take on South Africa at 11.28pm in its last pool match.
