With just few more days for the Hong Kong and Commonwealth Games to kick start, Fiji Airways men’s 7s coach Gareth Baber is confident of producing good results.
Baber says, the players have adapted well to his style of training and the bond shared between the players is something that should be a boost.
“When you play with new players it takes time for them to bet in and to build relationship as well if any have played international rugby you have to stand there and trust the guy that’s next to you and trust comes off the field it doe sent necessarily come with anything that you do on the field and the biggest trust I get is when you do take bad hits and you lose its what’s the reaction between behaviors between individuals.”
Fiji will battle Samoa in its first pool match at the Hong Kong tournament at 12.43am next Saturday and will then meet Russia at 5.54pm before playing New Zealand in its last pool match at 9.54pm.
The cup quarter-final kicks off at 2.58pm on Sunday the 8th of April and the semis begins at 7.41pm and the final is scheduled for 11pm.
