Fiji Airways men’s 7s coach Gareth Baber believes the team is in tip top condition ahead of the London tournament which start tomorrow.
Baber says the team has gone through some intense training session and have also had game times against England and Russia.
“We played a training game against England on Monday and we did a training game against Russia on Wednesday and both went well. There are obviously areas in the game which we keep looking at to improve. We in good place and everybody is healthy.”
Baber has named one of the strongest side for the tournament, including Josua Tuisova and Semi Radradra in the final 12.
Players like Samisoni Viriviri, Mesulame Kunavula and Apenisa Cakaubalavu have missed out the selection.
Fiji takes on Argentina in its first pool match at 10.20 pm tomorrow and will then battle against Scotland at 1.26 am on Sunday before meeting New Zealand at 4.32am.
