The Fiji Airways men’s 7s side is expecting a tough encounter against the prominent teams in the Oceania 7s next month.

Coach Gareth Baber says the side aware of the challenges ahead as they aim to win its third consecutive title this year.

“We as a team and the value that we have in our players we don’t take anything for granted and we know that we can do anything that we can possibly do to ensure that we play the top our level all the time.”

Fiji defeated New Zealand 26-nil in the final last year.

The national team has won three titles while Samoa has won four since the tournaments inception in 2008.

The Oceania 7s will be held on the 9th and 10th of November at Suva’s ANZ Stadium.
