Babasiga Lions bank on fitness despite lack of games

Lack of game time and only two weeks of preparation is all the Labasa side has been doing ahead of the Fiji Sun/Skipper Tuna Cup match against Ba on Saturday.
He remains optimistic and will not take the Men in Black lightly.

“We are very positive because the record shows that Labasa has won against Ba on their own home ground and I want to keep that record intact with this game too in Labasa on Saturday. I think fitness will be a key area as far as the game plan, I’ll keep it to myself and I’m banking on the new reps who have joined the side.

Reddy has highlighted the likes of Netani Doli, Kelepi Qaqa and Jesoni Takala to deliver the goods.

He is particularly happy to have the services of Fiji Under 20 rep Ashneel Raju.

Labasa hosts Ba at Subrail Park at 1pm and a live commentary of this match will air on Radio Fiji Two with the voice of soccer, Raymond Stoddart.
