Ba without key players in O-League

April 12, 2012 7:06 pm

The Ba soccer side will travel without several key players for their O-League match against AS Tefana in New Zealand on Saturday.

Coach, Yogendra Dutt says the loss of players, the recent floods and the challenge of scoring more than 20 goals to make the finals has not dampened their spirits to perform well.

“Alvinesh Singh is not travelling because he is carrying an injury and he has opted out to heal that injury, few other are carrying two yellow cards so they have one game suspension so that’s the reason why they are not travelling. I have told the boys that there is no harm in trying, we will try our best and see how far we go with that amount of goals which we have to score. Let’s give a try and see if things happen right and if not then we will be the third best team in Oceania.”
