Ba qualifies for next year's OFC Champions League

The Ba football side has qualified to the OFC Champions League next year after finishing second in the Vodafone Premier League this season.

The Man in Black beat Labasa 1-nil after Manasa Nawakula scored the goal in the second spell to seal the victory.

Ba has 26 points in the bag while Lautoka finished on top with 28 points.

In today’s matches, Lautoka striker Samuela Drudru scored a double as they defeated Rewa 4-nil in their VPL campaign.

Drudru and Benjamin Totori scored a goal each to put them 2-0 in the first spell.

Drudru then scored his second goal in the second spell to seal the victory.

Meanwhile, Napolioni Qasevakatini and Rusiate Matarerega scored a goal each for Nadi as they beat Suva 2-0.

The Jetsetters are in 3rd place with 24 points on the ladder.

Tavua remains in the premier division after beating Dreketi 1-0.
