The Ba football side will play Lautoka in the final of this year’s Courts Inter District Championship.

The Men in Black thumped Suva 5-nil in the second semi-final to set up a final against the hosts.

Narendra Rao Junior, Samuela Nabenia and Meli Codro scored to give the side a 3-nil cushion at half-time.

Nabenia and Rao added a second each in the second half for the victory.

Ba coach, Ronil Kumar praised his players for playing according to the game plan.

“We came with a plan of how we were going to play. The boys worked according to the plan and it shows that they do listen to the advice given by the coach and they did their best out there.”

In the first semi-final, Lautoka edged Rewa 1-nil.

The final kicks off at 2.30pm today.

Meanwhile, in the Senior division final, Navua plays Nadroga at 12.30pm.
