Ba irons out errors before last match

The Vodafone Ba football side is ironing out its errors before their last pool match against AS Pirae in the Fiji Airways OFC Champions League on Saturday.

Ba needs a draw to make it to the semi finals as they have already beaten FC Gaitcha 3-0 and Lope Ole Soaga 3-1 in their first two outings.

Coach, Shalen Lal says they will not take Pirae lightly and will try to improve on the errors they made in the previous matches.

“This is O-League and I guess all the teams come prepared. The teams we have already played with, were very good teams. Some mistakes in the midfield and the strike force. We were not able to penetrate through but I guess the boy’s created a lot of opportunities in the first half but they were unlucky to miss those sitters.”

Ba takes on AS Pirae at 7pm at Govind Park while at 4.30pm Lupe Ole Soaga takes on FC Gaitcha.

Meanwhile, tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium in Suva, AS Tefana plays Hekari United at 4.30pm while Tafea FC battles Team Wellington at 7pm.
