The Ba football side has withdrawn from the Pacific Cup which will be held in Australia in November.

Fiji Football Chief Executive, Mohammed Yusuf says Ba was nominated along-side Lautoka, Nadi and Suva to be part of the tournament in Sydney but pulled out due to some reasons.

He says Rewa joins the group as they won the Fiji FACT title this year and played in the IDC semi-final last year.

Yusuf says Lautoka qualifies as the 2017 IDC champions plus is the Vodafone Premier League winners of this season, Suva qualifies after reaching the semi-final of BOG and finishing fourth in the league and Nadi is through after finishing third in the league this season.

The Pacific Cup will be held from the 21st to the 25th of November in Sydney.
