Ba beats Suva in VPL

The Ba football side has moved to third place on the Vodafone Premier League table after beating Suva 2-nil at Govind Park this afternoon.

Ba led one nil at the half time mark with the goal coming from veteran mid-fielder Malakai Tiwa.

Samuela Nabenia scored the sides second goal in the last quarter of the second half.

Ba, after playing nine matches now has 15 points, one behind second place Suva while Lautoka leads the pack with 24 points.

Meanwhile, in the double header tomorrow at Churchill Park, at 1pm Nadi plays Dreketi and at 3pm Lautoka faces Labasa.
