The Ba football side has made a perfect start in the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants beating Labasa 2-nil at Churchill Park tonight.

The Men in Black scored to early goals in the first half through Manasa Nawakula and Saula Waqa.

Ba coach Ronil Kumar says it was a tough match but his players displayed a great football.

We played like a team. Labasa was a strong team but we came with a game plan which helped us to win the match.

Meanwhile in the matches tomorrow, Suva plays Dreketi at 12pm, Ba faces Tavua at 2pm, Nadi meets Rewa at 4pm and Lautoka battles Labasa at 8pm.
